Description
The RED® V-RAPTOR® is RED's latest flagship camera, recording REDCODE RAW in 8K up to 120fps. Paired with the Nauticam housing it becomes one of the smallest and easiest-to-use cinema systems on the market. The Raptor housing also controls the RED® KOMODO™ and KOMODO-X™ through the top and side RCP2 control panels via an optional tray (16250).
The Nauticam Raptor Housing
Engineered like the DSMC2 LT and Komodo housings for the most compact, travel-friendly system possible. Tool-less setup and teardown in minutes; batteries swap and lenses change without removing the camera. Uses the N120 cinema port system shared across Nauticam's N120 platform, with access to premium optics like the WACP-1/2 and SMC-1/2. Adjustable handles, oversized mechanical zoom/focus knobs, and a 1/4″-20 cheese plate on top for accessory mounting.
Beyond full mechanical control, the Raptor adds backlit electronic controls — Iris ±, Shutter ±, ISO ±, WB on the left side; Pre-Record, FPS ±, Playback, Play/Pause, Magnify and Tools on top. Supports RF and EF lenses (via the Canon EF–EOS R adaptor), internal/external monitor options, SDI output, ethernet surface control (5m / 45m), and Nauticam's Vacuum Check & Leak Detection system. Backed by Nauticam's 2-year warranty.
