The RED® KOMODO-X™ features a 6K Super 35 sensor with up to 16 stops of dynamic range, recording REDCODE RAW to CFast 2.0 and offering a global shutter, 12G SDI out, and a Canon RF-PL mount. It's one of the smallest cameras in the RED line — ideal for travel-friendly underwater cinema.
The Nauticam Komodo-X Housing
Engineered like the RED KOMODO housing for the most compact, travel-friendly system possible. Tool-less setup and teardown in minutes; batteries swap and lenses change without removing the camera. Uses the N120 cinema port system shared across Nauticam's N120 platform, with access to premium optics like the WACP-1/2 and SMC-1/2. Adjustable handles, cinema-style zoom/focus knobs, and a 1/4″-20 cheese plate on top for accessory mounting.
Supports Canon RF and EF lenses (via the EF–EOS R adaptor, incl. variable-ND), external monitor housings (NA-Ultra5 / Ninja V-S) over SDI, ethernet surface control (5m / 45m via the RedControl app), and Nauticam's Vacuum Check & Leak Detection system. Backed by Nauticam's 2-year warranty.
