The Canon C400 is the next evolution in Canon's C-series Cinema Line — built around a full-frame 6K BSI sensor and RF mount, with mechanical ND filters, Dual Pixel AF II, and 16 stops of dynamic range. Canon's C-series is renowned for excellent underwater colour, intuitive menus, and deep control customisation, making it ideal for single-shooter and larger productions alike.
The Nauticam NA-C400 Housing
A professional aluminium housing built on Nauticam's extensive cinema lineup. It uses the large N120 port opening shared with other Canon RF/EF cameras (R5 II, R5C), so lens and port combinations carry across systems. Large cinema-style dials give precise focus and zoom control, with exposure and capture controls within reach of the ergonomic handles.
Beyond mechanical controls (Power, Zoom, Focus, Lens Release) the NA-C400 adds electronic controls at the rear and both sides via the camera's remote functionality. The detachable C400 LCD mounts inside the housing for streamlined rear-window viewing. Supports HDMI 2.0/1.4 and SDI output for external monitors/recorders or surface monitoring, with 1× M28 and multiple M16 bulkheads. Includes Nauticam's Vacuum Check & Leak Detection system.
