🔆 Dual-mode: Wide & Spot in one unit
The donut-shaped COB places wide LEDs on the outer ring and spot LEDs at the centre. Both modes share the same optical axis — no repositioning needed when switching between wide-angle shooting and macro.
💡 No multi-shadowing
Unlike conventional multi-chip LEDs, the single-surface COB emits from one unified source. The result is clean, natural shadows that define your subject rather than confuse it.
🎚️ Precise light control
Two adjustment modes: 4-step (25% increments) via the power button, and 100-step (1% increments) via the +/− buttons. A memory function restores the last-used intensity on power-on — essential for video work.
📸 Flash sensor for stills
The built-in flash sensor detects your strobe firing, cuts the light instantly, then restores it one second later — so the focus light never bleeds into your stills. Pair with the optional LX Red Filter for skittish subjects.
🔄 Interchangeable light head system
All LX-series bodies share the same mount. Fit this head onto any LX-1200SW FS or LX-2400SW FS body for an instant 3,860 lm upgrade. One body, scalable power.
🔋 Two charging methods
Charge in-body via the rear charge plug (no disassembly needed) or remove the battery and charge it directly. The battery is aircraft carry-on compliant when removed.
📊 Colour LCD panel display
Brightness percentage and remaining burn time shown simultaneously — large, clear, and readable at depth.
