Kraken 7" 2200 Nit Ultra Bright Monitor SDI
Same 7″ ultra-bright monitor. SDI input instead of HDMI.
The Kraken 7″ 2200 Nit SDI Monitor is built for underwater cinematographers running cameras with SDI output — RED, Sony VENICE, Canon Cinema EOS, Blackmagic URSA, and others in that class. SDI delivers a more stable, reliable signal than HDMI over longer cable runs, and it's the connection professional cinema cameras were designed around. If your camera has SDI and you've been compromising with HDMI adapters or a small built-in screen, this is the monitor you've been waiting for.
Everything else matches the V2 HDMI version — 2200-nit brightness, 7″ display, dual 21700 battery system, and a fully articulating mount. The only difference is the input.
Key Features
- SDI input — stable, reliable signal designed for professional cinema cameras; more robust than HDMI over longer distances and in demanding environments.
- 2200-nit brightness — visible in direct sunlight, so no guessing your exposure or focus in ambient light.
- 7″ display — large enough to judge critical focus, composition, and exposure at a glance.
- Dual 21700 battery system — the same high-drain cells used in Kraken torches; long runtime, field-replaceable, USB-C rechargeable.
- Fully articulating mount — position it anywhere on your rig and shoot from angles impossible with a camera's built-in LCD.
- Built for underwater use — depth-rated and designed for real dive conditions, not just splash-proof.
⚠️ Camera output must be set to 1080p. You can record in any resolution, but the monitor input must receive a 1080p signal.
⚠️ SDI cameras only. If your camera uses HDMI, choose the KRM07 V2 HDMI version instead.
