The DIVEVOLK Underwater External Shutter gives you precise, ergonomic shutter control for your SeaTouch 4 Max Series Housing — both on land and at depth. Rather than tapping the touchscreen to shoot (which can introduce camera shake and is harder to do with gloves), this compact Bluetooth trigger lets you fire the shutter with a single button press from the handle position your hands are already in. It works with your phone's native camera app and third-party photography apps alike, covering both photos and video recording.

Built to handle 60 metres of water pressure and tested to over 100,000 keypresses, it is engineered for the long haul. Ultra-low power consumption and an automatic sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity keep the battery lasting through extended sessions. When you come back from sleep, a 5-second hold on the button reconnects it instantly. It mounts directly on the SeaTouch 4 Max Housing or on the Dual Handle Tray for handle-position shooting.

FAQ

Why did the shutter disconnect underwater?

Bluetooth signal is blocked by water. Keep the gap between the shutter and the housing to less than 3cm in fresh water and less than 1.5cm in salt water. On the Dual Handle Tray, shorten the arm until the shutter is close to the housing. If it disconnected due to auto-sleep (10 min inactivity), hold the button for 5 seconds until the blue light comes on to reconnect.
