- Should I remove my phone screen protector before use?
- Yes -- remove any screen protector before placing your phone in the housing. Glass screen protectors can be too thick and cause the phone to get stuck. Thin film protectors may also reduce touchscreen sensitivity through the housing membrane.
- Can I use this with dry suit gloves?
- The touchscreen works with wetsuit gloves underwater. For dry suit gloves -- which use non-conductive insulating materials -- DIVEVOLK offers optional cotton finger cots (sold separately) that restore touchscreen sensitivity.
- If I upgrade my phone, can I still use this housing?
- Yes. The SeaTouch 4 Max uses a modular adapter system. Purchasing a new adapter for your new phone model is all that is needed to keep using the same housing.
- Are air bubbles in the membrane a defect?
- No -- small air bubbles in the liquid-filled membrane are a normal phenomenon caused by dissolved air releasing under certain conditions such as altitude, heat, or repeated use. They do not affect housing performance.
